- Which leaves enough bandwidth to build real things?

MBBS β a profession, not a generic prestigious degree.
Medicine should be chosen because the work itself is attractive β patients, biology, diagnosis, procedures, uncertainty, service β not because it's considered safe or prestigious.

Common specialist timeline: Class 12 β ~5.5 yrs MBBS/internship β PG entrance β ~3 yrs MD/MS β optional fellowship. Specialist independence can land in the late 20s.

Take one only when at least one is true:
- It gives a structured foundation you genuinely lack.
- The instructor/material is unusually good.
- The credential itself unlocks something useful.
- You immediately apply it to a real project.
Avoid courses whose main value is "add this to LinkedIn."
At 14, nobody needs you to know what you'll be at 24.
What you already have is more useful: curiosity, the ability to make things, and enough time to try many directions.
Use the next decade to become difficult to replace β not because you know one framework, but because you can understand a problem, learn whatever's necessary, build a solution, explain it, sell it, improve it, and treat people well.
Study seriously. Get a worthwhile degree. But don't confuse education with classrooms, or a career with a job title.
Build things. Meet interesting people. Read widely. Learn how money works. Learn how technology works. Learn how people think. Help customers. Make mistakes while they're still cheap. Change your mind when evidence changes.
